On May 24, the Pakistan–China B2B Investment Conference, jointly organized by IBI, was held in Hangzhou. IBI Founder and CEOQian Xiaojun,IBI Director, Senior Vice President, and Founding President of the Beijing Future Entrepreneurs Promotion AssociationLiu Junzhaiwere invited to attend. At the event, under the witness ofPakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz SharifandDeputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang ProvinceLiu Jie, IBI signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pakistan’s RIC.

On May 24, the Pakistan–China B2B Investment Conference, jointly organized by IBI, was held in Hangzhou. Qian Xiaojun, Founder and CEO of IBI, together with Liu Junzhai, Director and Senior Vice President of IBI and Founding President of the Beijing Future Entrepreneurs Promotion Association, attended the conference upon invitation. At the event, witnessed by H.E. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang Province, IBI signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pakistan’s RIC.

The conference attracted more than 500 representatives from enterprises and institutions across China and Pakistan, covering key sectors including new energy, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, cross-border e-commerce, and smart agriculture. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, with bilateral practical cooperation continuing to deepen and yield tangible results. From May 8 to 14, an IBI delegation visited Pakistan for extensive exchanges and cooperation discussions and was warmly received by Pakistan Prime MinisterShehbaz Sharif. On May 13, the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters was officially inaugurated in Islamabad, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of PakistanIshaq Darattending the ceremony and delivering remarks. He highly commended the project as a transformative milestone in the China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, marking a new stage in cooperation from traditional infrastructure to digital infrastructure, jointly building a Digital Silk Road, and opening a new chapter in bilateral digital economy cooperation.

He noted that the initiative signifies a new stage in China–Pakistan cooperation, evolving from traditional infrastructure development toward digital infrastructure and the joint construction of a Digital Silk Road, thereby opening a new chapter in bilateral digital economy cooperation.

Shehbaz Sharifnoted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. The China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership has remained enduring and resilient over time. Zhejiang is a place where President Xi Jinping once worked. During his first visit to Zhejiang, he was deeply impressed by its beautiful scenery, orderly urban planning, and outstanding governance. Economic and trade exchanges between China and Pakistan are close, with tremendous room for future development. He expressed hope that both sides would further deepen cooperation in areas such as agriculture, the digital economy and artificial intelligence, special economic zone development, and mineral resource exploitation, achieving complementary advantages and mutual benefit. He sincerely hoped that enterprises from both countries would strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly embrace a brighter future, and continue writing new chapters in China–Pakistan friendship.

Relying on the newly inaugurated IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters and IBI’s mature “6+N” full-chain service system, the company will provide enterprises from both countries with one-stop, end-to-end services covering cross-border trade, intelligent logistics, digital supply chain development, cloud AI empowerment, joint project facilitation, and investment compliance support. Through these efforts, IBI aims to comprehensively empower the co-development of the China–Pakistan industrial ecosystem and contribute industrial internet momentum to the China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

Liu Junzhaistated in her banquet remarks that Beijing’s Fengtai District, as a new hub for China’s innovation-driven economy, has developed strong industrial clustering effects in sectors such as the digital economy, finance, and advanced manufacturing, and is becoming one of the most convenient gateways for Pakistani enterprises entering the Chinese market. IBI is working together with the Fengtai District Government and the Embassy of Pakistan in China to establish a China–Pakistan enterprise service platform aimed at promoting the normalization and institutionalization of bilateral industrial cooperation. She emphasized that Fengtai’s industrial strengths are highly aligned with Pakistan’s development needs in areas such as artificial intelligence, new energy, agricultural and food processing, and telecommunications equipment. IBI will continue to fully leverage its role as a bridge and link between the two sides, deepen enterprise matchmaking and cooperation, and inject sustained momentum into the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
