Pakistan Regional Economic Forum (PREF) Delegation Visits IBITDD to Discuss New Chapter of China-Pakistan Industrial Cooperation
January 12, the Pakistan Regional Economic Forum (PREF) delegation visited IBITDD. Former State Minister and former Chairman of the Board of Investment of Pakistan Haroon Sharif held a high-level discussion with IBI Senior Vice President and TDD CEO Liu Zhai and others. The two sides exchanged ideas on strategic topics such as deepening cooperation under the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, industrial digitization, and the integrated development of cross-border trade. They jointly explored how to use digital technology to empower bilateral economic and trade exchanges and promote high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The visiting delegation toured the Digital Economy Exhibition Hall to learn about IBI's current Duoduo platform operation model, cross-border operation strategies for industrial clusters, as well as the technological applications and practical strategies of the Guolian Cloud.During the exchange, Haroon Sharif highly appreciated IBI's deep cultivation and innovation achievements in the field of industrial internet. He stated: "As an important partner country of the Belt and Road Initiative, Pakistan has achieved fruitful results from practical cooperation in various fields with China in recent years.
