The IBI Pakistan Digital Economy and Business Forum was successfully held.

On the afternoon of September 8, the IBI99 Global Chain Business Festival and Fengtai Foreign Development Conference sub-forum—IBI Pakistan Digital Economy & Business Forum—was held at the Beijing Yinkun Weijing Hotel. Nearly 200 representatives from the Pakistani political sector, as well as representatives from Chinese and Pakistani business circles and industry organizations, attended the event to exchange and discuss topics such as manufacturing and industrial cooperation, "Belt and Road" industrial collaboration, and business matchmaking.

During the forum's opening session, IBI Director and TDDGlobal Founder Liu Junzhai and IBI Global Cross-Border Strategy General Manager and TDD-Global Vice Chairman Qadir delivered speeches respectively. Pakistani Senator Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Assistant Vice Minister of Pakistan and Senior Advisor to CVF-V20 Zulfiqar Younus, CFO of Din Industries Norman Ahmed, OBOR Chairman Shahid Feroz, Chairman of the Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Association Salim Wali, and IMGC China Representative Wang Li, among other guests, delivered keynote speeches.

Liu Junzhai introduced that the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters officially launched operations on May 14, 2026, in the Islamabad Special Technology Zone, focusing on areas such as trade, agriculture, cold chain, minerals, and digital infrastructure, covering multiple physical industry tracks. All projects have clear advancement milestones and are being implemented in an orderly manner. This forum included multi-dimensional precise matchmaking sessions, with IBI leveraging its series of industrial digital platforms to provide comprehensive support services for cross-border cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani enterprises. She emphasized that Sino-Pakistani industrial cooperation should be based on long-term mutual benefit, equality, and trust, adhering to shared risk and pragmatic collaboration, and leveraging the opportunities of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to continuously expand bilateral industrial cooperation space.

In his welcome speech, Qadir warmly welcomed the Pakistani guests from various sectors attending the forum. He stated that Pakistan is an important node country along the "Belt and Road" and a core partner in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. IBI places great importance on its market layout in Pakistan and has established a country headquarters and localized service teams there. He expressed hope that this forum would serve as an opportunity to deepen pragmatic cooperation in areas such as digital economy, industrial investment, and supply chain collaboration with various sectors in Pakistan, sharing the opportunities brought by the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

During the keynote speech session, the guests systematically analyzed the potential for Sino-Pakistani cooperation by combining policy advantages and industry realities. Political guests elaborated on the broad prospects for bilateral industrial collaboration from dimensions such as the foundation of Sino-Pakistani friendly cooperation, favorable business environment, digital economy upgrades, and climate-resilient infrastructure. Corporate and industry organization representatives introduced market resources and cooperation opportunities in fields such as Pakistan's manufacturing, chemical dyes, and industrial support, and promoted new models and pathways for cross-border industrial cooperation. Chinese corporate representatives, including Ju Liyan, Chairman of Shandong Binyin Group; Meng Ting, Representative of Tianjin Dingfeng Group; and Xu Maochuan, Representative of Wenzhou Digital New Energy Group, shared their visions and cooperation plans for deeply cultivating the Pakistani market and conducting cross-border industrial layouts.

During the business matchmaking session, representatives from Chinese and Pakistani enterprises conducted one-on-one precise negotiations on key areas such as bulk commodity trade, manufacturing investment implementation, digital economy collaborative innovation, and cross-border supply chain construction. All parties accurately matched supply and demand resources and refined cooperation details, achieving multiple preliminary cooperation intentions on-site. The forum yielded fruitful matchmaking results and a lively atmosphere of exchange.

This forum represents another important practice by IBI to deepen Sino-Pakistani digital economy and industrial cooperation and expand the cross-border third growth curve of industrial belts. In the future, we will continue to leverage the advantages of industrial internet platforms, relying on Pakistan's country headquarters and the Sino-Pakistani two-way service network to facilitate more Chinese industrial belt enterprises entering the Pakistani market and more high-quality Pakistani products entering the Chinese market, contributing industrial strength to building a closer Sino-Pakistani community of shared destiny.
