"Insight into Pulp and Paper, Steering Towards the Future" — WDD Paper Industry Chain Development Exchange Conference Successfully Concluded

September 8, 2026, the "Insight into Pulp and Paper, Navigating Towards Excellence"—WDD Paper Industry Chain Development Exchange Conference, jointly hosted by WDD and CITIC Futures, was grandly held at the IBI Digital Economy Headquarters. This event brought together nearly a hundred industry representatives to engage in in-depth discussions on key topics such as the current supply and demand dynamics of the paper industry chain, price fluctuations, and digital upgrades of the supply chain. The conference was hosted throughout by WDD Vice President Wang Chaoyang.

In the opening session, IBI Vice President and WDD/PaperMore CEO Huang Shasha first welcomed the guests on behalf of the organizers and briefly introduced WDD's layout and practical achievements in the paper industry chain. She mentioned that in recent years, the paper industry has been at a critical stage of raw material structure adjustment, accelerated green transformation, and deepened digital penetration. The cyclical fluctuations in pulp and paper prices and changes in the global pulp supply landscape have posed higher demands on the operational resilience of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain. As a digital service platform deeply rooted in the entire paper industry chain, WDD has consistently focused on the core strategy of "platform, technology, data" to provide diversified services such as centralized procurement and distribution, cloud factories, and supply chain collaboration for the industry chain, aiming to break down information barriers between upstream and downstream and reduce circulation costs across the entire chain.

They shared thematic insights from multiple perspectives, including global pulp supply and demand trends, the application of commodity derivatives tools in risk management for pulp and paper enterprises, cost reduction and efficiency improvement at the production end, new trends in downstream consumer markets, and digital transformation of the supply chain.
