Joint Efforts to Promote Industrial Digitalization and Empower High-Quality Development of the Consumer Goods Industry
To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC's Fourth Plenary Session and carry out General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on new productivity, as well as to promote in-depth integration of Party building and business, and to strengthen government-enterprise collaboration for empowering high-quality industrial development, on December 24, 2025, the Department of Consumer Goods Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and the IBI Party Branch jointly held a thematic Party Day activity. The event combined on-site investigations and discussion sessions, focusing on critical topics such as empowering the consumer goods industry's digital transformation through industrial internet and cross-border expansion, with the goal of gathering consensus on development, clarifying collaboration directions, and enhancing the global competitiveness of the consumer goods industry.
At the beginning of the event, He Yaqiong, Director of the Department of Consumer Goods Industry at MIIT, Wang Bin, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and other relevant leaders, accompanied by IBI Founder and CEO Qian Xiaojun, visited the IBI Digital Exhibition Hall. They gained a detailed understanding of the company's over 20 years of development in the industrial internet field, including its business layout and innovative achievements. They specifically inspected the operational models of platforms closely related to the consumer goods industry such as WDD, Zhiduo, FDD, and LYDD, experiencing firsthand the deep application of digital technology across various links of the industrial chain, as well as its effectiveness in empowering the transformation and upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises.
During the discussion session, Qian Xiaojun first extended a sincere welcome to the visiting leaders on behalf of IBI. He stated that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Party Central Committee has placed great emphasis on integrating the digital economy with the real economy, setting the direction for building new industrialization. As a key field in ensuring people's livelihood and driving consumption, the transformation and upgrading of the consumer goods industry depends on policy guidance and digital empowerment. IBI has always resonated with national industrial policy through its platform strategy, focusing on three business growth curves: industrial e-commerce, industrial digitalization, and cross-border industrial clusters, striving to build a new ecosystem for industrial internet. This joint Party Day event provides a valuable platform to deepen cooperation between the government and enterprises, and IBI looks forward to advancing new industrialization together under policy guidance.

Director He Yaqiong emphasized that this joint Party Day event is a vivid practice of MIIT's core principle of "integrating industrialization and informationization." As a leading company in industrial internet, IBI's achievements in digital construction have provided important inspiration for government departments to optimize services and promote industrial upgrades. He pointed out that a key task in implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC's Fourth Plenary Session is to enhance global competitiveness in traditional industries such as textiles and light industry, which requires collaborative efforts to strengthen data-driven thinking and deepen integrative development. He expressed hope for continued cooperation between the government and enterprises to collectively advance China's manufacturing industry on a global scale, leading the world and contributing to high-quality development in the consumer goods industry.

Deputy Director Wang Bin affirmed the effectiveness of IBI’s Party building work and business development. She noted that IBI should continue to expand the coverage of its Party member team, optimize Party member management mechanisms, and align corporate growth with regional industrial planning. She encouraged IBI to seize the development window of the industrial internet, solidify its advantage in information and data resources, and expand digital services and overseas market layouts. Additionally, IBI should regulate the aggregation of business revenues, leverage Beijing’s resource advantages to establish scaled integrated R&D entities, and deepen new business models such as data services and think tank services to inject momentum into building a new development pattern.

During the interactive session, the government and enterprise representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on core topics such as the digital transformation of the consumer goods industry, empowering enterprises in going global, and precise policy alignment. Representatives from relevant divisions of the Department of Consumer Goods Industry shared their insights based on their business functions, recognizing that IBI's digital model provides effective solutions to the pain points faced by small and medium-sized enterprises struggling with "wanting to transform but not knowing how, or lacking funds to do so." IBI's practices in optimizing cold chain logistics, building a digital industrial chain in Xinjiang, and developing overseas warehouse service networks serve as important examples for enhancing quality and efficiency in the consumer goods industry and exploring international markets. Representatives suggested that IBI share industry data resources and summarize and promote digital transformation experiences, aiming to jointly unveil the digital potential in sectors like food industry and support the global expansion of high-quality domestic products.
This joint Party Day event, with Party building as a bridge, established a solid platform for deep government-enterprise engagement and clarified practical paths for collaborative empowerment in industrial upgrading. Moving forward, IBI will continue to integrate Party building with business operations, closely follow national policy directions, and work hand-in-hand with government departments to solve industrial development challenges, build a new ecosystem for industrial internet, and contribute to high-quality development in the consumer goods industry and the advancement of new industrialization.
