From March 24 to 26, Liu Wei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Transport, conducted research in Hefei City and Bengbu City, Anhui Province. He emphasized the need to deeply study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on building a strong transportation country, earnestly implement the deployment of the National People's Congress, accelerate the improvement of a modern comprehensive transportation system, and highlight "one network and four modernizations," focusing on promoting the implementation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" tasks to provide solid support for a good start to the "15th Five-Year Plan." During the research, Liu Wei held discussions with Liang Yanshun, Secretary of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, and Wang Qingxian, Governor of Anhui Province, for in-depth exchanges on promoting high-quality development of transportation.

　　Liu Wei first visited the Jinzhai Road Toll Station on the Hefei Ring Expressway to understand the service functions of "Wanmei Cloud Cabin," the construction of the cultural brand "Smile Service, Warm Traffic," and inspected the "Wanmei Expressway Brain" and "Wanmei Escort" systems. He listened to reports on the planning, construction, and management of expressways and the improvement of intercity commuting efficiency in the Hefei metropolitan area. He emphasized the need to further enhance the carrying capacity and traffic efficiency of transportation infrastructure through digital and intelligent transformation, strengthen congestion relief and smooth traffic on busy road sections during major holidays, and enhance the construction of intelligent perception capabilities of the road network. It is necessary to adhere to seeking truth from facts, be pragmatic, and tailor the construction of intercity commuting transportation systems in metropolitan areas to local conditions, effectively solving the urgent and difficult problems faced by the people. Subsequently, Liu Wei visited the Fengle Service Area on the Beijing-Taiwan Expressway to understand the construction of charging service facilities and the standardized and normalized construction and operation of the "Driver's Home." He emphasized the need to strengthen the operation and management of charging facilities, enhance high-power charging capabilities, accelerate the transformation of seating positions, improve the service function facilities of the "Driver's Home," and continuously improve the quality of operational services.

　　The Jianghuai Zunjie S800 production base is jointly built by Jianghuai Automobile and Huawei. Liu Wei entered the factory workshop to inspect the operation of the production line and the display of vehicle models, emphasizing the need to adhere to innovation-driven development, cultivate and expand new quality productivity in the transportation field, strengthen the tackling of key core technologies, and promote the high-quality development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry. Hefei Port Paihe Port Area is located in the central section of the Jianghuai Canal. Liu Wei conducted on-site research in the port area, investigating the Jianghuai trunk waterway major channel and other situations, emphasizing the need to strengthen coordinated linkage, fully leverage the role of channel hubs, unblock bottlenecks, vigorously develop multimodal transport, and promote the development of new energy and clean energy ships.

　　At the Longkang Farm Comprehensive Transportation Service Station in Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City, Liu Wei conducted on-site research on the integrated development of passenger, cargo, and postal services, and had cordial exchanges with bus drivers and postal couriers. He pointed out that rural logistics is closely related to the production and life of the people, and it is necessary to deepen the construction of a three-level county-township-village postal logistics system, enhance the sustainable development capability of rural passenger, cargo, and postal operations, and better meet the travel, freight logistics, and postal service needs of rural residents. At the original No. 2 Wharf of the Huai River in Bengbu City, Liu Wei listened to reports on the improvement of the water transport capacity level in the Huai River Basin (Anhui section). He emphasized the need to strengthen research and demonstration, reinforce element guarantees, address shortcomings, strengthen weak points, and accelerate the optimization of the water transport structure and the improvement of transport service levels.

　　During his stay in Anhui, Liu Wei also visited the Anhui Innovation Pavilion and the Tsinghua University Rural Revitalization Workstation in Guan Temple Village, Longkang Town, Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City, to research technological innovation and the construction of harmonious and beautiful villages.
