Recently, with the successful docking of the "Guoyan Star 2" vessel fully loaded with containers at the Shandong Port Bohai Bay Port Shouguang Port Area, the new "Yingkou-Shouguang-Gaoqing" container sea-river intermodal transport channel has officially opened for operation, adding an efficient logistics channel between the northern coast and the central Shandong hinterland.

　　The new channel adopts a seamless "sea transport + inland river" connection mode throughout. After the cargo is loaded onto the ship at Yingkou Port in Liaoning, it is transported by sea directly to the Shouguang Port Area by the "Guoyan Star 2" vessel, then transferred to the "Qinghe Ji" series of inland river vessels, traveling along the Xiaoqing River channel directly to Gaoqing Port, forming a complete intermodal transport loop from the northern coast to the Bohai Bay hub to the central Shandong hinterland. This mode achieves one-time loading and unloading of the entire ship's containers, direct delivery throughout, significantly reducing cargo transfer time, effectively lowering the comprehensive logistics costs for enterprises, providing a more economical, stable, and green transportation solution for key industries such as building materials and chemicals along the route, while also filling the business gap in container sea-river intermodal transport from Yingkou to Shouguang.

　　As an important inland node of the new channel, Gaoqing Port optimizes its operational support capabilities, fully implementing an efficient operation mechanism of "unloading upon arrival, loading and departing immediately," accurately managing ship arrival scheduling, striving to reduce the time consumed in each connection stage, and enhancing intermodal transport efficiency. Meanwhile, the port, while consolidating traditional cargo sources such as calcite, actively works on optimizing the cargo structure, expanding into 14 types of container cargo such as finished paper, base oil, and alumina, promoting the diversification of cargo sources, and laying a solid foundation for the steady growth of port throughput.
