On November 1, at the Fengtai Innovation Joint Fund Innovation Development Conference of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the IBI technical team engaged in an in-depth discussion with over 20 expert and professor representatives from Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing University of Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and the Automation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences regarding funded projects, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beihang University.

The Fengtai Innovation Joint Fund of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation relies on the Fengtai Joint Fund of the Municipal Foundation, where leading technology enterprises pose the technological challenges they encounter in their development process. Through the platform of the joint fund, outstanding research teams are selected to address these challenges, promoting the organic integration of basic research and industrial development and building the industrial ecosystem. On April 28 of this year, at the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, and Fengtai District Government, along with IBI and four other leading technology companies and three unicorn companies, signed an agreement to jointly contribute 250 million yuan to establish the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Fengtai Innovation Joint Fund, focusing on supporting cutting-edge research in areas such as the digital economy, commercial aerospace, rail transit, intelligent manufacturing, and high-end medical devices.
