Lead Industrial Upgrades and Co-create a Smart Future
On June 14, after recommendation by industry authorities, material review, and expert evaluation, the Beijing Municipal Cybersecurity and Informatization Committee Office of the Communist Party of China officially announced the "2024 Beijing Top Ten National Digital Literacy and Skills Training Bases." IBI, along with the Beijing International Big Data Exchange, Lenovo, Beijing Big Data Center, and nine other organizations, successfully made the list and attended the awarding ceremony.
The National Digital Literacy and Skills Training Base is a key venue implementing the requirements of documents such as the "Action Plan to Enhance National Digital Literacy and Skills." It aims to improve the adaptability, competence, and creativity of the public in the digital era, promote the exchange and sharing of experiences, and serve as a model for guidance. Its purpose is to provide professional support and resource guarantees, foster co-construction and sharing of digital development achievements, and enhance the level of digital literacy and skills across all residents of Beijing.
Under the support and guidance of the Beijing Municipal and District Cyberspace Affairs Offices, IBI will proactively leverage its advantages in digital resources to fully advance the construction of digital innovation bases. Centered on the industrial internet, it will promote the integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, and supply chains, accelerate technological empowerment of traditional industries, and facilitate digital, intelligent, and green upgrades. IBI aims to build professional and specialized digital innovation platforms for upstream and downstream enterprises and contribute to driving high-quality development through digital empowerment, assisting Beijing in its goal of becoming a global benchmark city for the digital economy.
