On July 3, IBI and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications of Pakistan officially signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement at the China National Convention Center in Beijing during the Global Digital Economy Conference 2024.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor construction is becoming increasingly important, with the Chinese and Pakistani governments sharing the same consensus on cooperation. IBI regards Pakistan as a crucial strategic point for expanding its cross-border e-commerce industry overseas, actively responding to the national "Belt and Road" initiative, and promoting regional economic cooperation and development. Based on its advantages in digital economy, industrial internet, and cross-border industry expansion, IBI will collaborate with the Pakistani government to jointly create a global 'one-stop' full-chain service for various Pakistani industries, fostering coordinated innovation and development of the industrial chain and supply chain.
As the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor plays an increasingly important role, and the Chinese and Pakistani governments have reached consensus on cooperation, IBI has now regarded Pakistan as a strategic stronghold to bring its cross-border e-commerce industrial belts to the global stage. It is an important stride taken by IBI to actively respond to China’s “Belt and Road” Initiative and promote regional economic cooperation and development. IBI will join hands with the Pakistani government to tailor global “one-stop” full-chain services for various industrial chains in Pakistan backed by its superior advantages in digital economy, industrial Internet, cross-border presence of industrial belts and other aspects, thus spurring the collaborative and innovative development of industrial and supply chains.
IBI has officially signed a strategic agreement with the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications of Pakistan, indicating that the cooperation between the two parties has entered a new phase. IBI will make full use of its mature resources in the digital economy and advantages in digital technology, joining forces with local core enterprises to establish footholds in Pakistan. Together with the Pakistani government, they will promote the implementation of cooperation in areas including cross-border comprehensive service platforms, supply chain collaboration platforms, cross-border barter platforms, cloud factory plans, enterprise publicity and promotion, talent collaboration, etc., aiding more enterprises between China and Pakistan in their cross-border ventures and local establishment.
