On July 20, IBI signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tanzania Jilin Chamber of Commerce and a joint venture agreement with Tanzania MINOCK GROUP LIMITED.

The Tanzania Jilin Chamber of Commerce, as a local Chinese business organization, has long been committed to enhancing communication between Chinese enterprises and the Tanzanian business community. It has extensive experience in local market channels, government relations networks, and policy resource integration. Familiar with Tanzania's business environment and industry entry requirements, it can provide localized support for cooperative projects. IBI, as a leading domestic industrial internet listed company, adheres to the core strategy of "platform, technology, and data," actively building a third growth curve centered on cross-border industrial belts. It has a mature operational system and technical capabilities in industrial internet platform construction, digital supply chain management, and cross-border industrial belt expansion. By complementing each other's strengths, the two parties will jointly establish a channel for industrial cooperation between China and Tanzania and explore the East African market. Previously, under the leadership and coordination of President Yu Qi, IBI had conducted field investigations in multiple sectors in Tanzania, identifying six key areas—electric tricycles, fertilizers, cold chain logistics, solar streetlights, Zanzibar real estate, and bonded industrial parks—as having high growth potential, significant demand gaps, and high import dependency, laying a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation.

Tanzania MINOCK GROUP LIMITED has been deeply involved in the local market for many years, with practical experience in site facilities, sales networks, and policy applications. It can provide operational support for the joint venture company and establish a complementary upstream and downstream cooperation foundation with TDD. TDD, as the core industrial internet platform under IBI, has developed a comprehensive cross-border service system in the automotive equipment supply chain sector. Electric tricycles, as a natural extension of the automotive equipment supply chain, have vast market potential in East Africa. TDD can provide the joint venture company with KD parts supply for electric tricycles, assembly technical guidance, and digital operation support. Recently, Tanzania has reduced import tariffs on electric vehicles from 25% to 10% and implemented VAT exemptions on charging equipment. The joint venture company will actively apply for relevant tax incentives in economic zones, and both parties will jointly promote the transformation of electric mobility and the development of green transportation in East Africa.

This signing marks an important step for IBI in deepening its presence in the African market. IBI has systematically expanded into the African market and has established trade and economic cooperation with several African countries, including South Africa, Egypt, and Kenya. This move into Tanzania not only achieves a strategic extension from South Africa to East Africa but also establishes a dual-driven model of "strategic cooperation as a platform and project joint ventures for implementation." Taking this signing as an opportunity, both parties will fully leverage their respective strengths to deeply cultivate the Tanzanian and East African markets, achieving mutual enhancement of commercial value and industrial empowerment.
