The High-Quality Development Forum for Agricultural Products Wholesale Markets was held at the IBI Digital Economy Headquarters, jointly exploring new paths for digital transformation and cross-border ecological construction.
From January 16th to 17th, the High-Quality Development Forum of Agricultural Products Wholesale Markets was held in Beijing. On the morning of the 17th, elites in the agricultural wholesale industry and representatives from the government and enterprises conducted a specialized survey on the core topics of high-quality development in the agricultural products wholesale market at the IBI Digital Economy Headquarters. Attendees included Shen Yang, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of the China Vegetable Marketing Association; Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI (603613.SH) and Chairman of LLDD; Wang Haitao, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Zhengzhou Market Development Center; Liang Hao, CEO of IBILLDD; Shen Ming, Deputy General Manager of Pingxiang International Trade Group, among 12 other guests, along with representatives from various agricultural products wholesale market enterprises, discussing plans for industrial upgrades and plotting the development blueprint for the industry.
At the beginning of the forum, Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and Chairman of LLDD, delivered a speech. She mentioned that as the core hub connecting production and sales, the agricultural wholesale market serves as a "stabilizer" for ensuring people's livelihoods and a "bridging heart" for rural revitalization. In the current wave of digitization, IBI focuses on "platform, technology, and data" as its core strategy, delving into the digitalization of the agricultural industry through platforms like LLDD, FDD, and LYDD. IBI is willing to deepen cooperation with industry colleagues to jointly build a new digital agricultural wholesale ecosystem and contribute to rural revitalization and industrial upgrading in the process of constructing a unified national market.
IBI Senior Vice President and LLDD Chairman Liu ZhaiDuring the thematic sharing session, Liang Hao, CEO of IBILLDD, focused on the exploration of "Intelligent Digitalization of Traditional Markets and Cross-Border Industry Ecosystem Construction." He introduced the three major growth curves of the IBI industrial internet through centralized procurement by industrial e-commerce, cloud factories for industrial digitalization, smart supply chains, and the 1750 strategy for cross-border industrial zones (1 cross-border comprehensive service platform, 7 overseas transaction centers, 50 overseas central warehouses), offering a full-chain digital solution for the agricultural wholesale industry. The showcased practical cases such as industrial big models, intelligent demand-supply matching, and cross-border transportation computing support vividly illustrated the core value of intelligent digitalization technology in industrial optimization and upgrading.
IBILLDD CEO Liang HaoA case study of IBILLDD empowering operations was presented on the "China-ASEAN" Fruit Trading Center project, with Pingxiang local partner—Shen Ming, Deputy General Manager of Pingxiang International Trade Group—sharing on the theme "From 'Direct to Fresh' to 'Deep Value Cultivation'—The Pingxiang 'Port + Distribution + Processing' Model for ASEAN Fruit Industry Upgrading." He introduced that Pingxiang City in Guangxi Province, being the largest land port city for fruit import and export nationwide, achieved a total fruit import and export value of 30.2 billion yuan from January to November 2025. Relying on 22 cross-border highway logistics routes and 12 cross-border railway train routes, a highly efficient logistics network has been built. The China-ASEAN (Chongzuo) Fruit Trading Center, focusing on "Smart Port," "Super Distribution," and "Local Processing," addresses the three major pain points of timeliness, functionality, and added value in agricultural wholesale, achieving a gross margin increase from 10% to over 35%, providing a replicable "Pingxiang Solution" for regional industrial upgrading.
Pingxiang International Trade Group Deputy General Manager Shen MingSubsequently, a signing ceremony between Zhengzhou Market Development Center and IBILLDD was held, aiming at pioneering digital upgrades and transformations among major commodity wholesale markets in Zhengzhou. IBI stated that this is an exploratory practice of deep integration between the industrial internet and traditional agricultural wholesale markets through smart digitization. The form of agricultural wholesale markets will inevitably transcend the limitations of physical space, evolving into a digital hub integrating online and offline, with domestic and international dual circulation.Concurrent with the forum was the "Pingxiang Port Imported Fruits and Local Processing Product Promotion Conference," where a dazzling array of fresh fruits and processed products from Southeast Asia were showcased, including durian, jackfruit, green mango, jinhuang mango, dragon fruit, rambutan, longan, as well as mango chips, durian cakes, and durian mille-feuilles. These products not only showcased the rich natural resources and unique flavors of ASEAN countries but also vividly reflected Pingxiang's high-efficiency circulation capacity and quality assurance level as the core hub of China-ASEAN fruit trade, allowing attendees to deeply feel the fruitful results and broad prospects of regional economic and trade cooperation.
