Recently, led by Director Dong Guoming of the Second Geological Team of the Hebei Provincial Geological and Mineral Group, and Chairman Yu Deli of Xufeng Construction Group, TDD Assistant to the President Chen Haoyuan and his delegation visited Oman. They conducted discussions on greenfield exploration, resource development, import and export of chromite, gold, copper polymetallic mineral resources, digital supply chain services, and cross-border finance, and met with Abd al-Wahid, President of Sohar Bank.

Located in the southeastern Arabian Peninsula, Oman is a major producer of mineral resources and energy in the Middle East. Apart from oil and natural gas, Oman also has abundant mineral resources. Geographically, Oman is at a key transit point between Asia, Africa, and Europe and is an important coastal port nation along the Arabian Sea, with modern deep-water ports such as Sohar Port and Salalah Port. Oman is actively developing re-export trade and is committed to building an international logistics hub connecting the East and the West. In recent years, the Omani government has vigorously promoted an economic diversification strategy, continuously optimizing the investment environment in manufacturing, logistics, and cross-border trade, and shifting from traditional oil development to comprehensive development of chromite, gold, and copper polymetallic mineral resources.

MDO is a state-owned company in Oman engaged in comprehensive mining development. Its main responsibility is to invest in and conduct exploration activities for Oman's mineral resources, developing projects covering upstream and downstream segments, targeting a variety of strategic minerals, and collaborating with well-known domestic and foreign mining companies to accelerate the commercialization of Oman's abundant mineral resources.

OCC is a state-owned company in Oman engaged in the mining sector. The company's business mainly involves chromite ore extraction, geological research, production, processing, and sales of the produced ore. It is also committed to researching methods to improve ore concentration, adding optimum added value to local raw ore, and conducting geological and underground mining research for other minerals, to achieve a new pattern of development focused primarily on chromite mining alongside multiple minerals.

During the discussions, Chen Haoyuan stated that TDD is a B2B industrial internet platform under IBI, focusing on deep supply chain integration across industry chains. It is actively responding to the “Belt and Road” initiative, accelerating the layout of cross-border business in regions such as the Middle East and Central Asia. The visit to Oman aims to leverage TDD's platform resources and digital supply chain service capabilities to engage in pragmatic cooperation with local Omani partners in areas like import and export of chromite, copper, gold polymetallic mineral resources, digital supply chain services, and cross-border finance, sharing development opportunities.

This visit and exchange by TDD to Oman not only deepened the mutual understanding between Chinese and Omani enterprises in the mineral supply chain field but also laid a solid foundation for both parties to jointly build the "Belt and Road" cross-border cooperation mechanism. In the future, TDD will continue to leverage the advantages of its industrial internet platform, collaborating with global partners to jointly expand the innovative development space for mineral resources and digital supply chains, injecting new momentum into promoting international industrial collaboration and economic and trade interconnection.
