During the visit, Shao Chunsheng and Liu Yang jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to promote industrial development through collaborative efforts.

In recent years, ASA has expanded operations to produce durable front doors, door frames, and windows for the local hardware, construction, and residential housing markets.

Chairman Liu Yang stated:
“China is South Africa’s largest trading partner. Over the years, China–South Africa cooperation has developed smoothly across multiple levels and channels. We hope that this collaboration will leverage the respective industrial and resource advantages of both parties, achieving complementarity and driving rapid economic growth for South African enterprises.”
Liu Zhai, Senior VP of IBI and CEO of TDD, noted:
“This year, TDD has rapidly expanded its third growth curve of cross-border industrial e-commerce. Under the Belt & Road framework, both parties aim to integrate resources to establish modern warehousing facilities and logistics distribution for the global market, jointly empowering local industrial innovation and upgrading in South Africa.”

Through this strategic cooperation, TDD and ASA Aluminium will leverage their industrial and product strengths to enhance steel products and hardware construction material import/export operations, advance cross-border logistics and overseas warehouse cooperation, and achieve mutual growth through a win-win partnership.
