On January 15, under the guidance of the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and jointly organized by the Pingxiang Municipal Party Committee, Pingxiang Municipal People’s Government, Chongzuo Municipal Bureau of Service Industry and Commercial Port Affairs, and IBI’s Cold Chain DODO, the “Fruit Aroma 2025” China–Vietnam Two-Way Fruit Trade Opening Exhibition and Matchmaking Conference
(Hội nghị giao thương năm mới trái cây Trung–Việt) was successfully held at the China–ASEAN (Chongzuo) Fruit Trading Center in Pingxiang, Guangxi.

As an important component of the 2025 Guangxi Premium New Year Goods Festival and the Guangxi·Chongzuo (Pingxiang) China–Vietnam Border New Year Market, the event attracted 167 enterprises from fruit-producing regions, circulation companies, trading markets, state-owned agricultural investment enterprises, logistics, warehousing, and financial institutions.
Participants came from 17 provinces (and municipalities) in China and 5 provinces in Vietnam, with nearly 300 attendees taking part in the matchmaking activities.

At the conference, Qin Zhixiong, Director of the Standing Committee of the Pingxiang Municipal People’s Congress, and Liang Hao, CEO of IBI’s Cold Chain DODO, delivered opening speeches.
Officials from government departments, customs, and border inspection authorities, including Huang Rongrong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Pingxiang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, attended the event.
Industry representatives delivered keynote presentations, including:

Qin Zhixiong stated that Pingxiang enjoys unique advantages in China–Vietnam trade, particularly in fruit import and export operations.
Relying on the China–ASEAN Fruit Trading Center and the development of the Pingxiang Smart Port, the city provides efficient and convenient trading services for fruit merchants from both countries, while further deepening the port-based flow economy to support border-area development and prosperity.
Liang Hao noted that IBI is a leading B2B e-commerce and industrial digital economy platform in China, and Cold Chain DODO is one of its key vertical industrial internet platforms.

Through a digital supply chain service system, the platform helps upstream and downstream enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency. Based on port economy operations, Cold Chain DODO is actively expanding its cross-border integrated service platform to optimize cross-border trading processes end-to-end.

Vietnamese enterprise CÔNG TY TNHH THỰC PHẨM TOÀN CẦU SEG, represented by Pham Minh Quan, promoted Vietnamese fruits such as durian and jackfruit, emphasizing the strong complementarity between the Chinese and Vietnamese fruit markets.
He highlighted the China–ASEAN Fruit Trading Center as a key carrier for two-way trade and expressed expectations to establish broader cooperation with Chinese partners.
During the promotion and exchange session, Shao Zhaojun introduced Cold Chain DODO’s cross-border integrated service system built around the China–ASEAN Fruit Trading Center.
He emphasized that refined operations in cross-border fruit trade are critical to enhancing enterprise profitability and stated that Cold Chain DODO will actively advance cross-border digital cloud warehouses, smart logistics systems, and customs clearance efficiency, expanding comprehensive fruit trading services between China and ASEAN through innovative operations.
Liu Zhiyan promoted Xinjiang specialty fruits such as grapes, Korla fragrant pears, red dates, and walnuts, highlighting the location advantages and market system of the Xinjiang Jiuding Market.
She noted that Xinjiang and Guangxi serve as key nodes facing western and southern markets respectively and expressed hopes to improve the efficiency of China–ASEAN and China–Central Asia two-way fruit trade through collaborative innovation.

Lang Chuandong, President of the Guangxi Agricultural Association, stated that the China–ASEAN (Chongzuo) Fruit Trading Center enables Guangxi fruits to enter ASEAN markets while also bringing ASEAN fruits into Guangxi, emphasizing the importance of promotion and branding.

Lu Yijuan from Chongqing’s Wanzhou District conducted a comprehensive promotion of locally produced Rose-flavored oranges and lemons, receiving strong attention from participants.
