Sharing Global Opportunities, Gathering Business in Fengtai—— The 11th 99 Global Business Linkage Festival Opens

On September 8, the Opening Ceremony of the 11th 99 Global Business Linkage Festival & Fengtai Opening-up and Development Conference were held at Beijing Riverside Garden Hotel. More than 2,000 representatives from over 1,800 key enterprises, business organizations, government bodies, industry associations, embassies and consulates across 32 countries and regions gathered for the event.

With all guests in attendance, IBI Group officially launched the online centralized procurement program of the 11th 99 Global Business Linkage Festival.

Jiang Zengwei, Chairman of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services; Cai Jin, Party Secretary and President of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing; Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of the CPC Fengtai District Committee; H.E. Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to China; H.E. Paulette Bethel, Ambassador of The Bahamas to China; and H.E. Télesphore Irambona, Ambassador of Burundi to China, representing the rotating chair of the African Union, delivered remarks at the conference.

Liu Quan, Founder and Chairman of IBI Group, and Qian Xiaojun, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IBI Group, joined Zhou Tongwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fengtai District Committee and Acting District Mayor; Wang Zhiwu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Division Commander of the 12th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; Cai Jin, Party Secretary and President of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing; and other government and business representatives to officially launch the online centralized procurement program.

During the Fengtai opening-up and development promotion session, Zhou Tongwei introduced Fengtai’s opening-up strategy, the industrial positioning of the Lize Financial Business District, supporting facilities and resources, and opportunities for global investment and cooperation.

Several key initiatives were also announced and launched, including the Global South Market Expansion Service Center, the Digital Economy Committee of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services, and a new “1+2” AI Global Digital Intelligence Application Framework.

A number of major cooperation agreements were signed, including:

• A strategic cooperation agreement between Fengtai District and CATL;
• A cross-border AI community cooperation agreement;
• A series of cooperation agreements between Fengtai Cultural Tourism Group and the Beijing Branch of China Development Bank;
• A strategic cooperation agreement between Linghang Group and EgyptAir;
• The launch of the Pakistan-China Business Center and Kazakhstan-China Business Center platforms.

During the project-signing and key-project launch session, the Duoduo platforms signed or announced 20 regional industrial digitalization co-development projects, 29 Digital Cloud Factory projects, 59 digital supply chain collaboration projects, 46 cooperation agreements with industrial and supply chain enterprises, 35 cross-border market expansion projects, 13 strategic cooperation projects with domestic industry associations and international organizations, and 12 key initiatives.

The Duoduo platforms also presented “Outstanding Partner” awards to 162 partner companies. These enterprises were recognized for their reliable industrial-service capabilities and digital transformation practices, as well as their continued contribution to the Duoduo platform ecosystem.

Project Signings and Key Project Launches

Project signings: regional industrial digitalization co-development projects, Digital Cloud Factory projects, digital supply chain collaboration projects, industrial and supply chain enterprise cooperation projects, cross-border market expansion cooperation projects, and strategic cooperation projects with domestic industry associations and international organizations.

Key initiatives launched: the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters Ecosystem Co-development Project; the IBI Group–JW Group Industrial Ecosystem Strategic Cooperation Agreement; strategic cooperation with ecosystem partners of the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters; cross-border operations cooperation in Central Asia and Africa; the “100 Livestock Enterprises Going Global” Central Asia Cooperation Blueprint; the joint launch of two digital agriculture and animal husbandry projects; the Digital and Intelligent Zero-Carbon Factory Co-development Plan; the China–Laos Mohan–Boten Economic Cooperation Project; the Wuxi Basic Industrial Materials Industry Ecosystem Collaboration Project; the China–UK Green Supply Chain Memorandum of Understanding; Global Bean Warehouse; the “Chip Power” Energy-Saving Engine Initiative; the Hainan Agricultural Reclamation Industry Digitalization System; the Global Digital Seed Industry Platform Strategic Cooperation Project; and the Liuzhou Wuling Special Vehicle Project for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Carriers.
