On November 26, Carlos Fioravanti, Chairman of the Brazil Belt and Road and Cultural Economic Development Fund Federation, visited IBI with his delegation, accompanied by Wang Xia, Chairman of Zhongding Haoshuo. They were received by Xu Jian, CEO of IBICNAUTO, among others. The parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on key topics such as cross-border cooperation in the China-Brazil trade sector, overseas warehouse network layout, and the construction of a digital trade ecosystem, injecting new momentum into cross-border economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

The visiting delegation first toured the IBI Digital Economy Exhibition Hall to gain a deeper understanding of IBI and the Duoduo platform's innovative practices in operating the digital economy industry and cross-border business within industrial belts.During the discussion, Carlos Fioravanti mentioned that Brazil has a significant advantage in agricultural product exports. He expressed hope to collaborate with IBI to leverage digital platforms to facilitate key aspects of cross-border circulation of Brazilian agricultural products, optimize the entire process of warehousing, logistics, customs clearance, reduce trade costs, and enhance product circulation efficiency. This aims at efficient alignment and value-sharing of China-Brazil agricultural trade resources. Furthermore, he pointed out that there is still room for optimization in Brazil’s domestic logistics network and warehousing resources. He suggested IBI set up overseas warehouses in key Brazilian cities and use data from these warehouses to support the supply chain, helping companies accurately grasp market demand and comprehensively enhance cross-border trade competitiveness.Xu Jian stated that IBI is committed to building a global digital industrial ecosystem, with enormous potential and broad prospects for China-Brazil economic and trade cooperation. The company intends to actively meet the Brazilian market’s demands, fully utilize advantages in digital technology, cross-border supply chain, and platform resources, deepen cooperation with Brazilian sectors, and actively participate in the construction of China-Brazil cross-border economic and trade infrastructure to contribute to the liberalization and facilitation of trade between the two countries and promote the continued healthy development of bilateral economic and trade relations.
Through this discussion, the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on future collaboration. The Brazil Belt and Road and Cultural Economic Development Fund Federation invited IBI to conduct an in-depth investigation in Brazil, conduct on-site research on local agricultural industry belts, logistics hubs, and market demands, and advance cooperation projects to implementation and effectiveness. After the meeting, the delegation visited the Lize Financial Business District in Fengtai, then proceeded to Zhongguancun Fengtai Park for further exchanges, aiming to further clarify cooperation directions in digital economy, cross-border finance, industrial collaboration, and other fields.

These series of exchange activities are important measures to implement the Memorandum of Cooperation between the central banks of China and Brazil from May and the consensus of the BRICS summit. With the continuous advancement of cooperation between the parties and the landing of more cross-field, multi-level collaboration projects, China and Brazil will form stronger synergy in fields such as digital trade, agricultural trade cooperation, and infrastructure co-construction, contributing “China-Brazil wisdom” and “China-Brazil strength” to building an open, inclusive, mutually beneficial, balanced, and win-win global economic governance system.Participants in the exchange included Cid Araújo Pitombo, General Manager of the Brazil Belt and Road and Cultural Economic Development Fund Federation; Jia Yuanchun, Founder and Secretary-General; José Renato Gransdo Ferreira, Supervisor-in-Chief; Ren Hong, Deputy Director of the Lize Administrative Committee; Zhang Huifang, Chief of the Enterprise Service Division; Liu Xianwei, Overseas General Manager of Pan-China Construction Group Co., Ltd.; Liu Lei, Vice President of IBICNAUTO; Wei Lifeng, CTO of IBI Cross-border Technology Center; and Han Xiao, Vice President of FDD.
