Recently, IBI Senior Vice President and TDD CEO Liu Zhai, TDD Vice President and Anhui TDD President Sun Hongbin, were invited to participate in the “Entering the Production Line, Collaborating for Advancement” event organized by Sinopec Chemical Sales East China Branch (hereinafter referred to as Sinopec ChemSales East China) and Zhong'an United Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhong'an United). To express gratitude to Sinopec ChemSales East China and Zhong'an United for their efforts and achievements in the development and application of customized materials on the TDD platform, TDD presented commemorative banners to both parties at the event.

Polypropylene is a key operational product of the TDD platform. With market development and the diversified demands of downstream users, the TDD platform, based on the specialized needs of vertical users for high toughness and high precipitation polypropylene products, collaborated with TDD expert members and production partners to formulate solutions. The platform also served as the supplier of critical auxiliary raw materials for the customized product, partnering with Sinopec ChemSales East China and Zhong'an United to develop tailored products that have been widely praised by downstream users. Notably, during the research and trial production phases, Sinopec ChemSales East China and Zhong'an United were highly responsive to TDD platform users’ needs and feedback, ensuring close collaboration across all stages for efficient production. At the “Entering the Production Line, Collaborating for Advancement” event, TDD Vice President and Anhui TDD President Sun Hongbin presented commemorative banners to Sinopec ChemSales East China and Zhong'an United respectively. On behalf of downstream users, he expressed appreciation and gratitude for their dedication to meeting manufacturer needs and promoting win-win collaboration within the industrial chain. Witnessing the banner presentation ceremony were Sinopec ChemSales East China Party Secretary Kong Quan, Zhong'an United General Manager and Party Secretary Shi Huabiao, and IBI Senior Vice President and TDD CEO Liu Zhai.

Sun Hongbin stated: “Meeting the diverse demands of enterprise users within vertical industries is a crucial mission of the TDD platform. Leveraging user data accumulation from industrial internet operations, TDD actively collaborates with leading companies like Sinopec ChemSales and Zhong'an United to develop customized products, serving as a prime example of the platform’s efforts in expanding supply chain service capabilities to reduce costs and improve efficiency for downstream users.” He further noted: “Beyond the development of customized products, TDD extensively cooperates with upstream and downstream enterprises in areas such as digital transactions, digital supply chain construction, and industrial cluster cross-border expansion to promote innovative advancements across industries.”

Liu Zhai and his delegation were also invited to visit the Zhong'an United exhibition hall, central control room, sorting center, and intelligent polyethylene warehouse. They gained an up-close understanding of the company’s production control processes, analysis and inspection procedures, as well as product packaging operations. They highly praised the enterprise’s garden-like factory environment, intelligent production systems, green and low-carbon development initiatives, and the commendable spirit and morale of its staff.

Zhong'an United Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.

Zhong'an United Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the Anhui (Huainan) Modern Coal Chemical Industry Park. It is a large-scale coal chemical integration project jointly funded by Sinopec and Anhui State-Owned Assets. Designated as a major Sinopec construction project and a key demonstration project in Anhui Province, its Phase I includes an annual production of 1.7 million tons of methanol, conversion of 700,000 tons of polyolefins, and various chemical products, all supported by a 4-million-ton/year coal mine. With an investment of 20.7 billion yuan, the facility officially commenced production in August 2017, and the coal chemical project completed full-process trial operations in July 2019. The establishment of Zhong'an United Coal Chemical Project fills a gap in the large-scale polyolefin industry in Anhui Province and contributes significantly to optimizing the industrial structure for Sinopec and advancing world-leading clean and efficient utilization of coal resources.
