Mr. Wang Kai, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Wuxi, Visits IBI

Recently, Mr. Wang Kai, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Wuxi, led a delegation to visit IBI. Mr. Qian Xiaojun, Founder, CEO and President of IBI, along with members of the senior management team, warmly received the delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on IBI’s business layout, Wuxi’s industrial strengths, and future cooperation priorities, aiming to advance collaboration to a higher level and inject new momentum into Wuxi’s high-quality economic development.

Wang Kai highlighted Wuxi’s strong economic and industrial advantages. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Wuxi achieved sustained economic growth and strong industrial output, fostering multiple large-scale industrial clusters and establishing a solid position among China’s advanced manufacturing hubs. Looking ahead, Wuxi will prioritize the development of producer services as a key growth driver.

He noted that IBI’s three growth drivers are highly aligned with the needs of Wuxi’s manufacturing sector, and spoke highly of the company’s business model. He expressed the expectation that both sides will leverage AI technologies to expand cooperation in areas such as order management, procurement, e-commerce, and digital transformation, in order to better support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. He also emphasized that IBI’s “1750” cross-border industrial belt framework, particularly its overseas warehouse network, provides strong support for enterprises seeking to expand into global markets.

Qian Xiaojun stated that, leveraging IBI’s extensive experience in producer services, the company looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Wuxi and accelerating the development of the IBI Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Headquarters, with a focus on three key areas:

First, advancing industrial e-commerce and supply chain upgrading. The first phase has already established operations in industrial robotics, semiconductors, and new materials in the Economic Development Zone. The second phase will expand into sectors including textiles, chemicals, new energy, automotive equipment, and cold-chain (fresh produce) industries in Huishan District. Meanwhile, IBI will develop cross-border industrial belt e-commerce platforms in Wuxi to support enterprises in Wuxi and the Yangtze River Delta in expanding globally through integrated supply chains.

Second, promoting industrial digitalization and the application of industrial AI agents. Leveraging its strong digital technology capabilities, IBI will provide comprehensive digital transformation and AI services for local industries, centered on Guolian Cloud and Duoduo Industrial AI.

Third, advancing the layout of computing power infrastructure and related supply chain services. Drawing on its experience in computing power deployment and operations in regions such as Xinjiang, IBI plans to establish intelligent computing centers in Wuxi at an appropriate stage, contributing to the development of a computing power supply chain ecosystem.

Both sides agreed to leverage their respective strengths, deepen industrial cooperation, and jointly foster new growth drivers for the development of Wuxi’s producer services sector, promoting the integrated development of the digital and real economies.
