The Virtual Reality and Metaverse Industry Alliance (XRMA) is an alliance organization led by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in collaboration with ecosystem partners. It builds on the framework of the Virtual Reality Industry Promotion Conference (VRPC) to explore new opportunities and challenges triggered by the integration of virtual and real digital network spaces under the concept of the metaverse. The alliance will conduct multi-perspective tracking research from technological, industrial, economic, and network-social viewpoints on key issues such as technological paths, industry development, and scenario empowerment involved in the metaverse. It will organize related discussions and exchanges, carry out systematic research on metaverse technology, industry, standards, and applications, encourage member cooperation in key areas, consolidate industry consensus, and promote healthy and orderly ecosystem development.

IBI is highly focused on the deep application of fundamental metaverse technologies in the industrial and supply chains of the future. Based on technologies such as digital twin and blockchain, its independently developed industrial metaverse project aims for the digital upgrade of industrial and supply chains, constructing digital twins of production, warehousing, and logistics for deep model training in virtual environments. It also builds scenarios in areas like industry academic exchanges and expert training, comprehensively enhancing the digital experience of industrial chain enterprise users.
