On November 18, the 3rd Belt and Road Cultural and Technological Integration Development Conference was grandly held in Changping District, Beijing. The conference was jointly hosted by the Silk Road Planning Research Center, the China NGO Association for International Exchange, the Culture Committee of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, the China Academy of Art and Technology, and the Central University of Finance and Economics. It was organized by the Secretariat of the Belt and Road Cultural and Technological Integration Development Conference and the Beijing Changping Cultural Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd.

Scholars and guests from 15 countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Ghana, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Italy, Germany, Spain, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Brazil, Cambodia, and Mongolia, along with nearly 400 representatives from government departments, international organizations, university think tanks, cultural heritage institutions, and cultural and digital technology enterprises, were invited to attend the conference.

Senior leaders present at the conference included Ding Zhongli, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League; Sun Dongsheng, Standing Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and full-time Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association; Zhang Qiujian, former Deputy Secretary-General of the 12th CPPCC National Committee and Deputy Director of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Health and Sports; and Li Meng, Member of the CPPCC Committee on Education, Science, Health and Sports and former Vice Minister of Science and Technology.

At the sub-forum on “Artificial Intelligence Empowering International Cultural Exchange and Cooperation”, Hao Fang, Vice President of IBl Group and CEO of Xindoduo / Wenlv Duoduo, shared Wenlv Duoduo’s practical achievements in empowering the cultural and tourism industry through artificial intelligence. Guided by IBI core development strategy of “platform, technology, and data”, Wenlv Duoduo integrates AI across its entire business value chain, focusing on three core directions: activating IP value, reshaping experiential scenarios, and amplifying traffic value. It continues to make breakthroughs in the fields of “culture & tourism + industry,” “culture & tourism + digitalization,” and “culture & tourism + events,” telling industry stories, local stories, and China’s stories through diverse applications.

Hao Fang emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer a cold technical tool, but a warm bridge for cultural inheritance, emotional connection, and people-to-people exchange. Looking ahead, IBI will further collaborate with all parties to build a Belt and Road digital cultural and tourism community, creating a globally leading new model for the integrated development of industry, culture, sports, and tourism, and injecting sustained new momentum into cross-cultural exchanges and industrial collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative.

With the theme of “A New Ecosystem of AI + Cultural Technology from an International Perspective,” the 3rd conference focused on the integrated application of cutting-edge technologies and cultural innovation. It aims to promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, empower economic and social development through culture, deepen exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and encourage more cultural enterprises and outstanding cultural products to go global. The successful hosting of this conference not only provided a high-level international platform for cultural and technological integration, but also injected new momentum into the integration of artificial intelligence, digital culture, and other frontier forces into global civilizational exchange.
